Hi, I'm Carys!

Hi! I'm Carys, and Carys Madeleine Art is the home of all my creative endeavours. I'm based in Belfast and have lived here all my life. I'm currently a university student at Queen's University Belfast, where I study Anthropology & Archaeology. My love of art began at a young age, where I enjoyed playing with all mediums, shapes, and colours. It's this childlike wonder that I try to recreate in all that I make today. My favourite subjects to paint include natural forms, still life compositions, childhood memories, and places you may recognise from around Belfast as I love to paint from life. I mainly work in oil paints and acrylics, but I love to experiment with everything from fabric, to children's paint sticks.
